About Cambodia Guide Services

I am from a patch-work family of a small beautiful village of Sophy, 25km far from Siem Reap City. The unique lies on, that two broken families survived from Khmer Rouge regime that each of them has already four children, and then remarried and continued to have other four children. So we are 12 brothers and sisters in a family.

I am one of other three brothers to be sent to the Buddhist monastery for our education, after finished primary school. During 10 years of my educating monkshood I obtained Education in Pali Hight School (12 years) programmed by Cambodian Ministry of Cults and Religions. Besides general knowledge, I attended Language Institute to study English and Thai also.

After my graduation, in 2003 I left monastery to work to support the family by using my qualification. I had been working from lowest paid waiter, seller to the better paid restaurant manager, bartender and receptionist in hotel and finally I was chosen to attend Tour Guide Training Course and licensed by Cambodian Ministry of Tourism as Tour Guide. With my professional guide, I can earn my living, supporting family, volunteering with HVTO ( Homestay Volunteer Teachers Org)  to help my community through my job.

I am married to my beautiful wife, Kim Toun and we have a lovely son! I want to continue my professional guide career as it is important for us, so I created this site to offer my service to you. Cambodia is my sweet home and I want you to have a good visit and good experience in my beautiful country.
